We all know that nutrition plays an important role in our endeavors to build the perfect physique.

Over a period of time, we have had a variety of different 'diets' professed by various people.

As an athlete having an experience of over 30 years with the iron game, now as a trainer as well I have experimented with different types of diet plans.

Keto, which has caught of late the imagination of a large population, can do with a lot of my personal inputs. So here is my take on it.

The science about Ketogenesis, or ketone body production, in our body and its use and consequences.

The Keto diet is about fat adaptation for athletes: eating high fat (70%), moderate protein, and very low carbs.

For endurance athletes, it could be okay, but for strength athletes not at all.
