Dragon Fruit is a tropical fruit and is known for its vibrant red skin and sweet seed speckled pulp. It is quite popular amongst the health-conscious people as it is rich in nutrients and fiber. Here are a few benefits of Dragon Fruit:

Strengthens your Immune System

Dragon Fruit contains Vitamin C and Carotenoids which boosts your immune system and prevents the infection by protecting the white blood cells from damaging. The white blood cells in the immune system attack and destroy the harmful substances. As potent antioxidants, Vitamin C and Carotenoids neutralize free radicals and defend your white blood cells against him.

Loaded with Fiber

Dragon fruit is an excellent whole-food source as it is famous for its role in digestion and protecting against heart disease. It also manages type 2 diabetes and maintains healthy body weight.

Diets that are high in fiber also protect from colon cancer. Health authorities suggest 25 grams of fiber for women and 38 grams for men per day. The antioxidant & fiber supplements do not have same health benefits as the fiber from foods.
