Avocado is one of the most popular fruits in the world of fitness. The reason for its popularity is the nutrients it contains; Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Folate, and Potassium. It is full of flavor and creamy texture, which is the reason of this fruit being highly priced. It makes up for the vitamins that lack in today’s diet. Avocado is an oval shaped fruit with yellowish- green flesh and rough bumpy skin.

Avocado contains soluble fiber which is used to nurture the good bacteria. It is loaded with fiber and can be measured as 7% per serving which is a good amount in itself. The fiber in avocado helps in weight loss and strengthen the metabolism.

Helps in Healthy Pregnancy

Folate is a type of vitamin which plays an important role in healthy pregnancy. Deficiency in the consumption of Folate may have an increased chance of miscarriage and neural tube defect. Avocado contains folate in good measure and thus consumption of avocado can reduce the possibility of pregnancy issues.
