A very average student who found his passion in pumping iron at the age of 17, Akshay is a self-made bodybuilder and a national level power-lifter. He is a K11, Gold’s Gym, and Rip60’s certified trainer, well-armed with knowledge of cross-fit, power-lifting, and functional training. A Master in his skills, he talks about his journey and his future plans exclusively with Krunch Today.

How did you get into Body Building and Power lifting?

I started working at the age of 17 in a local gym until I got a chance to work as a trainer and caretaker of the gym. I did not really get any support from anyone for my dreams to make a career in bodybuilding, not even my family. I worked really hard to get the desired body when Mr. Hem Chandra Ovlekar called me to take part in a bodybuilding district level competition, where I won Bronze and Gold at State Level.
